Bamako: 11 dead after bus hits explosive device in central Mali. At least 53 people were injured. The incident happened on Thursday.
It is reported that those killed in the blast are civilians. According to security sources, the blast took place in the afternoon on the road between Bandiagara and Goundaka in the Mopti region. The area is known as a hotbed of terrorist attacks. Mines and Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) are among the preferred weapons of terrorists.
