New Delhi: The Union Budget will be tabled on February 1. The budget session of Parliament will be held in two phases. The first meeting will be held from January 29 to 15. The second phase of the conference will begin on March 8. Both Houses of Parliament meet for four hours each.
The budget session is likely to be tumultuous in the wake of the peasant agitation. The central government had last month canceled the winter session of Parliament in the wake of the Covid epidemic. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi had claimed that all political parties were in favor of canceling the winter session.
