Cherthala: Two people were killed when a lorry rammed upon them while changing the tires of a pickup van. The driver of the pickup van was identified as Biju, a native of Chowara, Ernakulam.
Vasudevan, who was going on a bicycle, came down to help Biju. Vasudevan is Pattanakkad native. Biju was repairing the tire of the punctured van on the Ponnamveli National Highway in Alappuzha.
