Thrissur-Pudukad train service resumed

Thrissur: Thrissur-Pudukad train service has been restored. Trains began to pass through both tracks simultaneously. The Thrissur-Pudukad goods train derailed yesterday afternoon. With this, the train traffic was disrupted. Many trains had to be canceled completely and some partially.

The Guruvayur-Ernakulam, Ernakulam-Thiruvananthapuram, Thiruvananthapuram-Shornur-Thiruvananthapuram-Ernakulam-Shornur-Ernakulam and Kottayam-Nilambur trains will be canceled in the morning. With this, a total of nine trains were completely canceled and five trains were partially canceled. The traffic between Chalakudy and Ollur was on a single line.

The wagons of the derailed freight train at Thrissur-Pudukad were completely removed this morning. The train engine and bogies were removed from the derailed area.
