Kochi: A new case has been registered against actor Dileep, the 10th accused in the case of attacking the actress. The case is based on the revelation of director Balachandra Kumar that he tried to endanger the investigating officer.
The case was registered by the crime branch on the charge of non-bailable. The case is being probed by a team led by Crime Branch SP Sudarshan.
Earlier, Balachandra Kumar had said that he was a witness to Dileep’s statement that five police officers who posed at the scene of Dileep’s arrest were being tortured. The case is based on references to ‘SP KS Sudarshan’s hand should be cut off.
The FIR alleges intimidation and conspiracy. The case is based on a conversation between Dileep, his brother Anoop and his sister’s husband Suraj.
