Thrissur: Priest who sexually assaulted girl punished under POCSO Act. Raju Kokkan (49), a native of Thrissur Amballur, was punished. The punishment is seven years imprisonment and a fine of Rs.50,000.
Thrissur Fast Track Court Judge Bindu Sudhakaran pronounced the sentence. The incident took place in 2014. The complaint is that the girl who had come to the first mass class of the parish was called and sexually assaulted.
