Actor Mohanlal against the charge sheet filed by the forest department in the ivory case. Mohanlal filed a petition in the High Court stating that he has a license to keep the ivory pole and is trying to damage his image.
Perumbavoor magistrate court had issued summons to Mohanlal and others in connection with the ivory case. The court issued a notice to the accused in the forest department’s case. The court said that the accused including Mohanlal should face trial.
The other accused in the case are PN Krishna Kumar, a native of Thrissur, K Krishna Kumar of Eroor, Nalini Radhakrishnan of the Chennai Peninsula. The Forest Department filed the charge sheet against the accused on September 16.
The charge sheet was filed after A A Paulose, a resident of Aluva, approached the High Court demanding the cancellation of the permission given to the chief incumbent of Mohanlal’s possession.
