Thiruvananthapuram: Monsoon is gaining momentum again in the state. Minor pressure on the Odisha coast is the major cause of the rains in the state. Yellow Alert was announced in six districts of the state the next day. The Yellow Alert has been announced in Malappuram, Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur, Alappuzha and Kasaragod districts.
The isolated heavy rains will continue till Monday. The state will experience heavy rainfall during these days too. The Meteorological Department said that there is a widespread chance of rain.
