Thiruvananthapuram: The state cabinet meeting has decided to give jobs to the National Games medal winners. The National Games medal winners’ strike in front of the Secretariat ended yesterday after it was announced that a decision would be made today.The decision was made to give jobs to athletes who won silver and bronze medals at the 2015 National Games. The Sports Minister’s office had informed the protesters yesterday that a decision would be taken at today’s cabinet meeting.Besides, the cabinet also decided to create about 400 new posts. It was also decided to form a new police battalion.
