Kozhikode: Police seized 648.5 grams of gold worth Rs 30 lakh from Karipur airport. The team was caught while trying to smuggle gold.
The gold was seized by the Kozhikode Customs Preventive Section. Nechikandan Suhaib, a native of Malappuram Kodur, was arrested from Dubai in connection with gold smuggling. The gold alloy was found hidden inside the body in three capsule-shaped packets.
