Kannur: Three customs officials who had conspired to smuggle gold through Kannur airport have been dismissed. The action was taken against inspectors Rohit Sharma, Sakendra Paswan, and Krishan Kumar.
The action was taken for conspiring to smuggle 4.5 kg of gold through Kannur airport on August 19, 2019. The main accused in the case, Customs Inspector Rohit Pandit, was earlier dismissed.
