Kochi: The custody period of former principal secretary M Shivasankar, who is in customs custody in a gold smuggling case, ends today. Shivashankar will be produced before the Ernakulam Court (Economic offenses) at 11 am today. In the last few days, the investigation has been trying to find out about Shivashankar’s role in the dollar smuggling case. Customs finds big parties involved in the dollar smuggling case.
According to customs, Swapna, Sarith, and Sivashankar were interrogated together and more information was obtained about them.
