Palakkad: Four shutters of Malampuzha Dam opened. Five centimeters were raised. With the heavy rains, the flow in the dam became stronger. The shutters were then opened to adjust the water level of the dam.
Malambuzha Irrigation Division Executive Engineer has warned that residents of Mookkai River, Kalpathi River, and Bharathapuzha fruits should be vigilant. The shutters opened at 10 am.
