Thiruvananthapuram: Assistant private Secretary to the Speaker K Ayyappan appeared before Customs for questioning in the dollar smuggling case. He was present at the Customs and Private office in Kochi. Ayyappan reached the Ernakulam guest house at 8 pm and reached the customs office in an auto-rickshaw. Ayyappan has been summoned seeking details of the statement made by Swapna Suresh against Speaker P Sriramakrishnan. Ayyappan had evaded giving notices twice in the last few days for various reasons.
