Director Balachandrakumar seeks high court with anticipatory bail 

Kochi: Director Balachandra Kumar seeks anticipatory bail in a sexual harassment case.  Balachandra Kumar says that actor Dileep, the accused in the case of attacking the actress, is behind the allegations against him.  Balachandrakumar also alleged that the harassment complaint was in retaliation for the revelation against Dileep.
 The sexual harassment complaint is fabricated.  There is a conspiracy behind this.  There is no fact in the allegations of the complainant.  Balachandrakumar said in his bail plea that they could not even explain the reason for filing the complaint years later.
 Elamakkara police have registered a case against Balachandra Kumar on the complaint of a woman from Kannur.  According to the 40-year-old complaint, the film director was molested at his home in Puthukkalavattam, Ernakulam in 2011.  He was assaulted after being called in promising to give her a chance in the film.  According to the complaint, the woman had threatened to release the footage after being informed that the assault information would be leaked.
