Clashes in Yuvamorcha March; several injured in pelting at police

Thiruvananthapuram: The march by Yuva Morcha activists in front of the secretariat ended in a clash. The clashes erupted in March when police tried to break through a barricade. Yuva Morcha March to protest against government recruitment scams. Police then used tear gas and grenades. Several activists were injured in the incident.

Activists, who had dispersed following the tear gas, regrouped chanted slogans and protested against the police action. Police then lathi-charged the Yuva Morcha activists. Four activists, including Yuva Morcha state secretary Vishnu, were injured.
