Chance of thunderstorms at night; Warning in seven districts

Thiruvananthapuram: The Central Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains in the coming hours in the state. Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Malappuram and Kozhikode districts are likely to receive showers tonight. Isolated showers are likely in these seven districts. The Central Meteorological Department has forecast winds of up to 40 kmph along with rain. Earlier, the Central Meteorological Department had warned of heavy rains in Kerala for the next five days.
