Thiruvananthapuram: Village assistant V Suresh Kumar will be dismissed from service. He was arrested in bribery case in Palakkayam.
Action will also be taken against Palakkayam village officer. Revenue Minister K. Rajan accepted the report of the investigation team.
Suresh Kumar, a native of Chirayankeezhu, was unjustly dispossessed of property worth crores of rupees. During the vigilance raid, a huge collection of coins, cash and other properties were found in his single room.
Suresh Kumar came to the Palakkayam village office three years ago.
