Kochi: The high court has granted bail to Nagesh Consultancy owner BV Nagesh in the Palarivattom bridge scam case. Vigilance told the high court that it had no objection to granting bail to BV Nagesh.
Nagesh was arrested by vigilance on the 18th of last month. Experts had found that the collapse of the Palarivattom bridge was due to a flaw in its design.
The design of the Palarivattom Bridge was entrusted to Bengaluru-based Nagesh Consultancy.
Nagesh received Rs 17 lakh for the design of the consultancy. But Nagesh Consultancy turned the contract over to another company.
