Kochi: The prosecution has sought more time in the high court to cross-examine new witnesses in the case of the attack on the actress. The prosecution told the high court that the cross-examination of new witnesses should be adjourned till the completion of further investigation and that further investigation is proceeding effectively.
The High Court had directed that the examination of new witnesses should be completed within 10 days. Two of the new witnesses are from neighboring states. Another was being treated for covid, the prosecution said.
