New Delhi: Unlock has been extended by five in the country. The guidelines, issued on May 30, have been extended till November 30 by the Union Home Ministry. About 15% of the current patients are in Kerala.
Outbreaks appear to be exacerbated during the festive season in Kerala, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Delhi. Ten states in the country have 78% of patients. The situation in these states is worrisome. The Center has also stated that it will prepare a plan for the control of Kovid in these areas.
At the same time, the Union Ministry of Health estimates that there has been a sharp decline in the number of new patients and deaths.
