Mumbai: The telecom ministry has announced the launch of 5G services in 13 cities across the country.
By 2022, 5G services will be rolled out commercially in Delhi, Gurugram, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, and Jamnagar.
Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio, and Vodafone Idea have already successfully tested 5G. Earlier, Information Minister Ashwani Vaishnav had said that the spectrum auction would be held by April-May 2022.
