Five people died when their SUV overturned after hitting the divider on the national highway in Tamil Nadu. Four of the dead are from one family.
The Madurai Police has released the footage of the accident that took place on the Virudhanagar-Madurai Highway. It is clear in the video that the white SUV, which came out of control in the left lane at excessive speed, swerved to the left side, hit the rear of the slow moving two-wheeler and hit the concrete divider and overturned.
The impact of the speed of the overturned SUV, which was thrown into the air, caused clouds of dust to obscure the view. Finally, the car came to a stop in the service lane of the four-lane road.
The deceased are from Villapuram in Madurai and belong to the same family.
