New Delhi: A decision has been taken to launch special international flights from 49 cities in India in September. This was announced by the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation. Air Bubble has signed agreements with 18 countries to launch special international services in 49 cities across India by September.
The service to Bangladesh has been started today. According to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Indian airlines are expected to lose Rs 22,400 crore by 2021.
According to the Air Bubble agreement, flights to Canada, Germany, Japan, Kenya, Maldives, Nepal, Oman, Russia, Sri Lanka, UAE, UK, France and the USA will be available in September.
International flights were first banned in March 2020 due to the corona epidemic. Domestic flights resumed in May, but international services were later suspended due to high levels of corona cases.
