Mumbai: Nine new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Maharashtra on Monday, while six cases were recorded in Mumbai alone last day. With one death reported in the Raigarh district, the number of Covid-19 deaths in the state rose to 1,48,412.
Health officials said that the number of people infected with Covid-19 in the state so far has increased to 81,36,348. 145 people are currently under treatment in Maharashtra.
So far 23,87,929 cases and 40,133 deaths have been reported in Mumbai circle. The data from the state health department revealed that the recovery rate was 98.17 percent and the death rate was 1.82 percent.
The threat of covid is spreading concern in the financial capital of the country despite the warning that the spread of covid in China will be extreme in the coming days.
