Severe cold wave in North India; 42 trains are delayed

New Delhi: The extreme winter which has been going on for days is intensifying in North India. 42 trains were delayed in Delhi yesterday alone. The minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 1.9 degrees Celsius. Train services and air services have been affected by extreme cold.

42 trains are running late due to extreme cold. A warning was issued to passengers due to fog at Delhi International Airport yesterday. 34 domestic flights are taking off late from Delhi airport. All 12 flights to Delhi are delayed. Extreme cold continues in other states of North India. States like Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh also experienced extreme cold.
