Seven killed in tourist bus-truck collision; Nine people were seriously injured

Bahraich: At least seven people, including three women, were killed and nine others were injured when a tourist bus collided with a truck in Uttar Pradesh.
The bus was traveling with 16 people from Karnataka to Ayodhya when it met with an accident at Naniha Market in the Motipur area. The incident took place on the Bahraich-Lakhimpur highway, Additional Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar said.

Five people, including the bus driver, died at the scene, while two others succumbed to their injuries on the way to the hospital, while nine others were seriously injured and hospitalized, police said. The truck driver fled the scene after the incident. The ASP said the investigation into the incident was progressing.
