New Delhi: Serum Institute of India (SII) has restarted the production of Covishield, a Covid vaccine, after the increase in Covid cases in the country, CEO Adar Punewala has informed.
He said that six million Covovax booster doses of the vaccine are currently stocked and the youth should take the booster doses.
Production of the CoviShield was discontinued in December 2021. Punewala also said that the Covovax booster dose can be booked through the Cowin App.
