However, the NCP could not secure majority support. The Shiv Sena, meanwhile, has approached the Supreme Court over the governor’s decision not to grant three days’ notice of support. But the court did not recognize the urgent need to hear the case. Congress alleged that the governor’s action was a violation of constitutional principles.
