Srinagar: Troops kill a terrorist in a clash between security forces and terrorists in Kulgam, Jammu, and Kashmir. The clash took place at Ashmoji in Kulgam. Jammu police said they could not identify the slain terrorist. Five militants have been killed in clashes in Kulgam in less than a week.
Clashes also broke out in Pombhai and Gopalpora in Kulgam this week. Afakh, commander of the TRF, was killed during a clash in Gopalpora. Police say he was involved in attacks on civilians in the area. Authorities said the encounter is continuing.
