Mumbai to launch E- double Decker buses

Mumbai: Mumbai’s popular double-decker buses are shifting to green energy. 900 double-decker AC buses allowed on Mumbai roads.
The buses were leased by the Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport (BEST) Committee. The term is 12 years. The first phase of the buses will be launched by the end of this year. Initially, the plan was to launch 200 double-decker ACE buses. Four manufacturing companies had come forward for this.
