Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi passed away. He died at Delhi AIIMS. He was undergoing treatment for throat cancer. He was one of the most important leaders of the BJP in Bihar for more than three decades.
He had earlier disclosed that he is battling cancer and will not contest the Lok Sabha this time. He stayed away from election campaigns due to illness.
