Srinagar: Security forces and militants encountered at Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir. Security forces killed three Lashkar-e-Taiba militants in the encounter. The clash took place in the Kokarnag area.
Security forces are continuing their search operation on suspicion that more terrorists are hiding in the area. The search is being conducted jointly by the police and the army.
