Srinagar: An encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The army launched a search operation in Tangmarg of Kulgam district based on information about the presence of terrorists. The terrorists hiding there opened fire on the army.
The army retaliated. There are also reports that the army surrounded the TRF commander. The army, CRPF and Jammu and Kashmir Police are jointly fighting the terrorists in Kulgam. Earlier, the army had killed two terrorists in Baramulla.
