Geneva: World Health Organization (WHO) chief Tedros Adanom Gebrias has praised Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his efforts in distributing the Covid vaccine. He urged other countries to follow India’s example. His response was via Twitter. India has distributed the Covid vaccine to 60 countries. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), India has sent 229 lakh doses of the Covid vaccine to other countries, including 64 lakh in grants and 165 lakh on a commercial basis.
Following this, the head of the World Health Organization praised India.
