Ranji Trophy - Kerala9.com

Mumbai: The Ranji Trophy matches have been abandoned following the Covid. However, the Ranji Trophy players will get the match fee this year also, BCCI reported. This is the first time in the 87 – year history that the Ranji Trophy has been abandoned.
The recommendations of various state associations were also taken into account. The BCCI has decided to drop the tournament this year.

However, limited-overs cricket tournaments do not change. This is following the number of IPL matches to be played at the end of March.
