Covid 19 2 1

Srinagar: A strict lockdown has been imposed in Srinagar, Jammu, and Kashmir for 10 days from Friday.  According to the new guidelines, the district administration has allowed shops selling groceries, vegetables, meat, and milk to remain open from 7 am to 11 am. Officials said the curfew was due to an increase in covid cases in Srinagar in the last few days.

The district magistrate said there would be a strict curfew for 10 days in Sadibal and Lal Bazaar.  In Jammu and Kashmir, 172 new cases of covid virus were reported yesterday.  The number of cases rose to 3,28,590.
