New Delhi: Indian and Chinese soldiers clashed in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh. China has reportedly provoked more with than 300 troops along the Line of Actual Control in Tawang. As the Indian Army retaliated, many Chinese soldiers were injured. 9 Indian soldiers were also injured in the encounter. The incident happened on December 9, Friday.
In May 2020, China’s provocation along the Pangong Valley in Ladakh led to a war-like situation along the Line of Actual Control. Both countries have increased military strength along the border and started new military bases. After a year on the brink of war, the two countries finally reached a consensus.
