Chinese air deployment in eastern Ladakh

New Delhi: Warplanes have reportedly been deployed at a Chinese air base adjacent to eastern Ladakh. Reports said that about 25 leading fighter jets are deployed at Houghton Air Base. The move comes after a U.S. military chief warned that China’s military deployment on the Indian border was “suspicious”.

Deployed including J-11 and J20 fighter jets. Earlier, there were MiG-21s here. But they are being replaced by more powerful aircraft. There are also indications that more air bases are being built in the area to target low-lying areas. Earlier, it was reported that China was carrying out construction work in the Pangong region of Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh.
