New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party got the status of a National Party. The election commission decided the party positions. Aam Aadmi Party’s presence in power in Delhi and Punjab is beneficial for it to get national party status.
Meanwhile, the CPI, Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress, and Sharad Pawar’s NCP lost their national party status. In Maharashtra, the NCP Shinde-BJP alliance, which was earlier part of the ruling front, became the opposition.
