The plants are being set up on the land of government hospitals, selected by the authority. These plants help to increase the availability of oxygen at the district level. The PMO office said in a statement. Earlier this year, PM set out to set up 162 PSA oxygen plants and 201.58 crores were earmarked from the fund.

To further strengthen the public health system, one of those hospitals plants is in place to ensure that there is an oxygen production facility.
