17th Lok Sabha session starts from today

New Delhi: The first session of the 17th Lok Sabha will begin on Monday. Parliament will meet until July 26. The swearing in of newly elected members will take place in the first two days. BJP member from Madhya Pradesh Virendra Kumar will be sworn in as the Pro-time Speaker before the President.

The election of the new Lok Sabha Speaker and Deputy Speaker will take place on Wednesday. Both will be sworn in later that day. President Ramnath Kovind will deliver a diplomatic speech at a joint session of both Houses of Parliament on Thursday.
