Brazil: Fourteen people have died after a heavy downpour in Minas Gerais. More than 20 people are reported missing. All the dead are from the metropolitan areas of Belo Horizonte, Iberite and Betim.
About 2,590 people were evacuated after the landslide. 911 people sought refuge in government relief centers. Rescue operations are in progress.
