Actress Riya Shibu, who has been garnering widespread acclaim for her breakout role as ‘Delulu’ in the Nivin Pauly starrer Sarvam Maya, is on cloud nine. The young actress received a heartwarming surprise from South Indian superstars Suriya and Jyothika, who sent her a special gift hamper and a handwritten note of appreciation.
Riya took to social media to share her excitement with fans, posting pictures of the gift and the letter. “I feel like I’m flying with joy,” she wrote, expressing her gratitude to the star couple.
In their note, Suriya and Jyothika praised her performance, stating: “We watched your performance in Sarvam Maya. It was very natural and impactful. Congratulations, and we hope even better roles come your way in the future.” Riya mentioned how touched she was that the busy couple took the time to watch the film and reach out to her personally.
Apart from Riya, the film’s music director, Justin Varghese, also received appreciation from Suriya and Jyothika for his work on the project.
Directed by Akhil Sathyan, Sarvam Maya has emerged as a massive commercial success, reportedly crossing the ₹150 crore mark at the global box office. The horror-comedy, which features Nivin Pauly and Aju Varghese in lead roles, continues to receive a strong response from the audience even after its OTT release.
