Kozhikode: The Kozhikode Cyber Police have registered a case against celebrity makeup artist Janmoni Das following a complaint that she made derogatory remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi on social media.
The action was taken based on a formal complaint filed by Mahila Morcha State President Navya Haridas. According to the police, the case has been charged under relevant sections for insulting and defaming the Prime Minister.
