Thiruvananthapuram: The Governer will approach the Supreme Court with the Kerala Government. The Governor will announce his stand when the case of Kerala is taken up. The governor claims the state government has violated the constitution. The governor said he was not informed about going to court against the Center and would inform the court.
Governor Arif Mohammed Khan said the government’s approach to the Supreme Court was “illegal”. The governor said he would not allow the constitutional principles to be overturned and would not satisfy any explanation from the government. Going to court without informing him is illegal. The governor had said that the government had a duty to inform him. Nobody has the right to break the law. Do not portray this problem as a matter between me and the government. He also said that no one should break the rules and regulations.
