Kochi: Malayalam actor and mimicry artist Kalabhavan Navas, aged 51, passed away due to a heart attack. He was found dead in his hotel room in Chottanikkara after finishing the shoot for his film Prakambanam.
After completing the film’s final schedule, Navas went to his hotel room. When he didn’t come out for a long time, the hotel staff checked and found him dead. The police moved his body to a private hospital in Chottanikkara. His friend, mimicry artist K.S. Prasad, confirmed the cause of death as a heart attack.
Navas was making a comeback to films after a break. He was the son of actor Abubacker and married to Rahana.
His sudden death has shocked the Malayalam film industry.
