Maruti Eeco will soon be releasing the BS6 (Bharat Stage 6) engine in the pollution control standard. The Eco 1.2-liter four-cylinder petrol engine will be upgraded to the BS6 standard. From April 2020 onwards, all new vehicles in the country will meet the BS6 standard.
Currently, the 1.2-liter petrol engine delivers 73bhp of power and 101Nm of torque. The transmission is a 5-speed manual. The price of the Eco will go up slightly as the BS6 rises. The Ex-showroom has currently priced between Rs 3.52 lakh and Rs 4.86 lakh.In addition to switching to the BS6 standard, the Eco will also bring the modifications needed to make the crash test successful. Earlier this year, Maruti Suzuki unveiled its new Eeco model, which adds security to the ABS, Airbag, rear parking sensor and high-speed varnish system.
