New Delhi: Covid vaccines like Covishield and Covaxin, have been approved for commercial use. Permission was granted by the Drug Control General of India. With this, both vaccines will be available in the public market.
The vaccine will not be available in medical shops. The vaccine will be available in hospitals and clinics. Vaccination information should be updated on the Covin app. The Central Drugs Standards Control Organization said the decision was taken after discussions with the subject expert committee. Previously, the vaccine was only approved for emergency use. But the price is not clear.
