New Delhi: An orange alert has been issued due to heavy rains in Delhi. This is the heaviest rainfall in 11 years. Major roads were flooded due to severe flooding in many places. This significantly affected traffic.
Several vehicles were damaged. The Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi was also flooded. Terminal 3 was flooded due to heavy rains. The Met Office has warned that the rains will continue and there will be heavy thundershowers during the night.
